Acknowledgement of Country video

Day 1 of Term 2 was a successful day of learning for teaching and support staff from our Community of Schools - Beecroft Public School, Cherrybrook Public School, Pennant Hills High School, Pennant Hills Public School, Thornleigh West Public School and West Pennant Hills Public School.

Approximately 350 teachers attended Pennant Hills High School to engage in the very important topic of Aboriginal Education. Staff spent the day deeply investigating Aboriginal Education through the Building Confidence - Cultural Understanding and Historical Understanding workshops.

Our day began with an Acknowledgement of Country by Aboriginal students from the six schools together with a Q&A video where some of our First Nations students told us what they would like their teachers to consider, as they undertook their learning.
