The school's grounds are beautifully and expertly maintained by the school's General Assistant.
The P & C's Gardens and Grounds Committee coordinates work by school families and community members to further enhance the quality of the school's environment. One of the major projects undertaken was the revitalising of the Bicentennial Garden behind Bellthorn Cottage. The gardens have increasingly been used as an outdoor learning area and a place in which students can learn more about plants of significance to Aboriginal people.
The Garden and Grounds Committee organises four major working bees each year to work on tasks such as spreading mulch, trimming trees and shrubs, establishing and planting new garden areas and working on building and painting projects.
In recent years, as a result of fundraising efforts of the P & C and wider school community, the P & C coordinated the design and construction of the playground renovation on the K - 2 site and are currently building a new outdoor learning space and additional works at the 3-6 site.
