Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

The Uniform Shop

The Pennant Hills Public School Uniform Shop is run by a sub-committee of the P&C (Parents and Citizens Association), consisting of parent volunteers and managed by one staff member employed by the P&C. Any profits made are donated back to the P&C which works in partnership to support the school.

The Uniform Shop sells all components for boys and girls uniforms including sports uniforms and a range of accessories, except for shoes. The Uniform Shop also offers a range of good quality pre-loved and second-hand items.

Hours of Operation – we are currently open during school hours by appointment only and bookings can be made through the online booking system.

Online Orders – easy ordering using Flexischools and delivered once a week to the student’s classroom.

New students – the uniform shop can assist with advice, sizing and purchases in preparation for your child’s first day.

In Terms One and Four, the Summer Uniform is worn. In Terms Two and Three, the Winter Uniform is worn. A Sports Uniform is worn on sports days or other occasions as advised by the school.

Kindergarten & New Enrolments

We understand that for children starting Kindergarten or those enrolling at a new school, the lead up can be a little daunting for both you and your child. The staff at the uniform shop will try to make the purchasing of your first school uniform as stress free and as exciting as possible.

Fittings & Purchases

For advice on sizing and assistance with purchasing your child’s first uniform, please book an appointment using our online booking system. If the available times are not suitable, please contact us via email at phpsuniformshop@gmail.com to organize alternative arrangements.

Kindergarten Students – We recommend purchasing your Uniforms in Term 4, in preparation for starting the following year. During Term 4 additional days will be available and our experienced staff and volunteers will assist you with uniform fittings and purchases. Booking information for these appointments are provided at enrolment, and appointments are available for a limited time, so once again we recommend booking early so you don’t miss out.

Online Shop

Should you wish to skip the appointment process you can self-order from the online shop at www.flexischools.com.au

For Kindergarten students, a special New Student class will be available for you to register your child under which will give you access to Kindergarten packages that have been put together to make the online ordering process simple. These orders can be collected from the Uniform Shop once they are ready. For additional information on how to make an online order please refer to the Online Ordering section of this guide.

Choosing the right size

When choosing the size for your child, please take into consideration what time of the year your child will be starting and whether the Summer or Winter Uniform will be required. School uniforms start at size 4 and we stock uniforms in even sizes only.

For Kindergarten students purchasing in Term 4, please note that your child will be wearing the summer uniform for Term 1 only before transitioning to the Winter Uniform. If your child is currently wearing a size 3, 5 or 7 then we would suggest selecting the size up for your child.

Appointment Bookings

Double Appointment times are usually for larger purchases, second-hand items or fittings, as these allow for additional time.

New Student Appointment times are specifically for incoming Kindergarten and New Students, as this allows 15-minute appointments for our staff to assist you.

Online Ordering

Our online shop at Flexischools is the most convenient way to make an order and shows our current price list. The school uses Flexischools for purchases of uniforms, canteen items and other P&C events. Once you have registered a Flexischools account and added your child as a student, you will be able to make purchases throughout the year.

  • Flexischools orders can be placed at any time of the day, any day of the week. When placing your order please select the most appropriate day for your order to be delivered to your child’s classroom.
  • Currently orders are being delivered once a week.
  • Flexischools cut off times are 5pm on the Sunday prior to delivery dates.
  • All orders will be packed and delivered to the office where they are then distributed by your classroom teachers. Please allow 2-3 days for the teachers to distribute orders to your children. Please contact the Uniform Shop if orders have not been received by the following week.
  • We will contact you directly if there is any issue with your order.

Second-hand Uniforms

The Uniform Shop gratefully accepts donations of second-hand items, which we kindly request are pre-washed and in good resale condition.

Preloved - are items in very good condition and will only be available online via Flexischools. 

Second-hand – if you cannot find what you are looking for in Flexischools, you can book an appointment to inspect unsorted/unlisted items at the Uniform Shop.

Returns & Exchanges

The Uniform Shop has a generous returns and exchange policy.

New Purchases - an exchange or refund will be offered if the item has been bought within 60 days, you have your receipt, and it is in its original condition with tags. 

Second-hand Purchases - these are final and cannot be returned or swapped for other second-hand items in store. We encourage you to please choose carefully.

Canceling Orders - you can cancel your order through Flexischools, however, if the order has already been processed by Flexischools, you need to e-mail the Uniform Shop to request the cancellation. If an order is cancelled prior to Delivery Date, Flexischools will return the funds to your original payment method. If an order is cancelled after the delivery date, you will be credited into your Flexischools account.
