Our new school Values are:

  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Aspire

The first of our  new school values that we will be exploring is respect. Respect is something that is very important to the community of PHPS.

Here are what some of the students at PHPS think respect is:

“Respect is caring about others” - Abby, Kindergarten

“Respect is paying attention to others and making them feel heard” - Alex, Year 4

“Respect means to look after school property” - Audrey, Year 4

In our classrooms this term, we will be exploring our new school values, including respect and what it means to be respectful.

    Pennant Hills Public School acknowledge the Dharug and Kuring-Gai people, who are the traditional owners of this land. They have walked upon and cared for this land for thousands of years. We would like to pay our respects to Elders past and present of the Dharug and Kuring-Gai people and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.
