Students were exposed to engaging maths activities using a Smarties box – they did very well to not open their box and eat what’s inside! That came later.
Students engaged in an array of mathematical tasks involving their Smarties boxes such as comparative length, discovering numbers on the box and reordering them to make the largest/smallest number, addition and subtraction problems.
Wednesday 10 March is Smarties Day!
We saw a large assortment of colour with students and teachers dressed as their favourite Smartie!
