We celebrated Harmony Day and the cultural diversity of our wonderful school and nation. 

Despite the dismal weather it was fabulous to see so many students celebrating Harmony Day by wearing a touch of orange.  With all that has happened in our world over the last year the message that “everyone belongs” is ever so important. 

A variety of activities took place around the school highlighting our cultural diversity and the importance of being inclusive.

Pennant Hills Public School acknowledge the Dharug and Kuring-Gai people, who are the traditional owners of this land. They have walked upon and cared for this land for thousands of years. We would like to pay our respects to Elders past and present of the Dharug and Kuring-Gai people and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.
