Students came to school dressed like a farmer, or a farm animal, and brought a gold coin donation to support Hermidale Public School in NSW’s central west. We are assisting in the setting up of a community café, where family and community members can get together and support each other during the devastating drought affecting country areas.

Pennant Hills Public School acknowledge the Dharug and Kuring-Gai people, who are the traditional owners of this land. They have walked upon and cared for this land for thousands of years. We would like to pay our respects to Elders past and present of the Dharug and Kuring-Gai people and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.
