^{LIFT THE PIG GENTLY WHILE PLACING YOUR OTHER HAND UNDERNEATH THEIR FRONT LEGS. MOVE YOUR FIRST HAND TO SUPPORT THEIR BOTTOM}

• ^{Make sure your hand is fully supporting their bottom}

^{LIFT YOUR GUINEA PIG HORIZONTALLY}

• ^{Do not let their legs dangle}

^{HOLD YOUR GUINEA PIG CLOSE TO YOUR BODY}

• ^{Either on your chest or in your lap}
• ^{Use a cuddle sack}
• ^{Pat them}
• ^{Talk to them}
• ^{READ to them}
