Students in 4M Maths Group have been reflecting on areas of mathematics they would like to learn more about. After discussions with their teacher, they have created board games which focus on these areas. Focus topics have included Roman numerals, division, fractions and decimals, angles and geometry. The students have created innovative and engaging board games and they are now spending some time playing the games and offering feedback to their peers.
Students in 4M's Maths Group have been working on the Birth Year Puzzle. The year we chose was 1994. Students have to make number sentences that equal 0 - 100 using only the numbers 1994 (in that order). Check out the creative solutions they have come up with to date!
Students in 4M Maths Group have been completing the' Four Cube Maths Challenge'. They have perfected the skill of isometric drawing, creating accurate 3D representations of their 'houses'.
