On Thursday 6 June, Year 1 visited Susannah Place Museum to learn more about the daily lives of people 175 years ago. Students were able to go into an old terrace house in the Rocks and see what life was like for the Cunningham family and experience where they sat and enjoyed family time, how they did the washing, where they slept and what games they played. Students also visited the exhibition of Janet Laurence 'After Nature'at the Museum of Contemporary Art where they appreciated the artworks and discussed the ideas of sustainability and nature. Students ate lunch at Observatory Hill and thought about who would have sat in the very same spot over 100 years ago and enjoyed the beautiful Sydney views. It was a very fun and interesting day!
Year 2 will visit on Thursday 20 June.
