Stage 3 students participated in a bike safety program run by the NSW Police Department at St Ives Driving Centre.

Students improved and showed off their bike riding skills, zooming around obstacle courses and even riding on a mini road with road signs, round a-bouts and everyone’s favourite, traffic lights! We learned about the importance of road safety, whether you are a cyclist or a pedestrian and of course wearing your helmet!

"The best part about C.A.R.E.S was learning the hand signals like turn left turn right and stop. Also, it was fun learning roundabout rules and what we could and couldn’t do on the road. I give this excursion 5 out of 5" -Luke

"I know we had a lot of fun at C.A.R.E.S on Monday. But my favourite part was the mini road because it was like an actual road!" - Megan
